All Over the World This Gospel Is Bearing Fruit
The Gospel continues to bear fruit in remarkable ways through ordinary believers around the world. One example is GoLead, a mission’s discipleship and equipping programme designed to help young adults, students, and working professionals live as faithful witnesses for Christ in their daily lives.
Where It Began
The vision for GoLead began through conversations with young adult believers from different countries. A lawyer serving in a government department asked how he could be a witness in his workplace. A teacher wanted to make an impact in her school through her profession. A student who had recently come to faith wondered how he could remain faithful while facing opposition because of his new beliefs.
These conversations revealed a common need: young believers desire to share their faith but often need guidance and encouragement to do so effectively in everyday life.
Three Key Themes
In response, GoLead was developed around three key themes:
- Discipleship — cultivating personal spiritual disciplines and abiding in Christ
- God’s Heart for the Nations — understanding God’s redemptive mission across the world
- Living as God’s Sent People — removing the sacred-secular divide and witnessing authentically in everyday contexts
What started as a small initiative has now grown across three countries, involving more than 65 participants from 10 churches and over 100 hours of learning through both online and onsite sessions.
A Participant’s Story
We thank God for the growing impact of the Gospel through this programme. One participant, a lawyer from a closed country, shared the following about the GoLead program:
The GOLEAD sessions have been profoundly practical for me. Learning to discern God’s will gave me clarity in making difficult career and personal decisions. The segment on finding faith in crisis helped me navigate unexpected challenges with peace rather than anxiety. Cultivating unforced rhythms of spiritual disciplines has transformed my daily routine, prayer, reflection, and Scripture reading now flow naturally, helping me stay grounded, intentional, and spiritually resilient in everyday life.
